Nikari Biennale stool

The Nikari Biennale stool is a sculptural wooden piece designed by Kari Virtanen, with a form that lets the character of the material take centre stage. Its solid wood body, visible grain and natural split through the centre make each stool subtly unique. The light oak-toned finish highlights the design’s pared-back yet powerful presence, while the small black feet add a refined finishing detail. Biennale works just as naturally as a seat as it does as a low side table or bedside piece. It reflects Nikari’s deep cabinetmaking expertise and an enduring appreciation for the honest beauty of wood.
