Hosseinabad oriental rug 159 x 318 cm

Hosseinabad rugs are hand-knotted wool rugs. They are known for their sturdy construction and suitability for everyday use. The designs typically feature continuous, all-over patterns with a free and expressive layout, and the colours are bold, often with brown as the dominant ground tone. Hosseinabad rugs have a compact, high-quality feel, and are knotted using the Ghiordis knot technique at a density of between 150,000 and 250,000 knots per square metre.
