Yalameh oriental rug 67 x 100 cm

Yalameh rugs are hand-knotted, woolen rugs that are characterised by their geometric, tribal patterns. The designs are uniform, with a strong emphasis on bright colours. Although the wool is machine spun, it has a soft sheen, and the traditional motifs create a lively yet structured surface. The knot density ranges from 250,000 to 350,000 knots per square metre.
