Aktscha oriental rug 150 x 193 cm

Aktscha rugs are hand-knotted and characterised by a deep, warm red base colour and a sturdy, relatively high pile. They are made using a blend of wool, goat's hair and horsehair. The primary motif is the Gül, also known as the Elephant's Foot pattern. The lower knot density of 50,000–150,000 knots per square metre makes the surface appear more robust.
