Keshan Fine oriental rug 133 x 214 cm

Keshan Fine rugs are hand-knotted wool rugs, distinguished by a high knot density and intricate detailing. Typically, the designs revolve around a central medallion, which is often echoed in the corners. The surrounding fields are densely filled with realistic floral motifs, vines and ornamental elements. This precise, richly textured surface has strong visual depth, created by the fine knotting. Knot density ranges from 350,000 to 450,000 knots per square metre.
