Their designs are inspired by geometric village patterns and structured medallion compositions on a Herati base, creating a striking contrast against calm red, cream, or blue backgrounds. They have an overall balanced and decorative expression, with a knot density ranging from 50,000 to 150,000 knots per square metre.
